This new in-office procedure allows our physicians tp put an end to rhinorrhea (runny nose). Using uses low-temperature radiofrequency (RF) energy to target and calm down the overactive nerves, helping to reduce the production and flow of unwanted mucus.

What is chronic rhinitis?

Whether it is due to allergens or just overactive mucosal glands, many patients face difficulties with runny nose. Chronic rhinitis is a form of nasal inflammation characterized by cold-like symptoms. There are two common types: allergic and non-allergen.

What is low-temp radiofrequency?

Radio frequency vibrations from the RhinAer wand non-invasively calm down the mucosal glads, thus decreasing the mucus production. After numbing local anesthetic, the procedure is a series of brief "taps" in the nasal cavities.

Procedure results

Unlike full sinus surgery, the recovery time is very minimal due to it being a non-invasive operation. Patients tend to feel results in a matter of days with complete recovery in under a week (compared to the 4-6 weeks for sinus surgery).
